Celtics won it comfortably

Glen Davis filled in for Kevin Garnett with aplomb as Boston Celtics went 2-0 up in their NBA play-off series against Miami Heat.

Garnett was handed a one-game ban for using his elbow in the first match but Davis was able to collect 23 points and eight rebounds as the Celtics triumphed by a comfortable 106-77 scoreline.

Miami's Dwayne Wade led the overall scoring in the match with 29 points in a losing cause.
Atlanta Hawks also went 2-0 up in their series against Milwaukee Bucks.

The Hawks ran out 96-86 winners after winning both the first and third quarters by eight points, thanks in part to Joe Johnson's 27-point return.

Phoenix Suns made light of their opening game defeat to Portland Trail Blazers, outscoring their opponents in all four quarters on their way to a crushing 119-90 scoreline
James Richardson weighed in with 29 points.

The LA Lakers needed overtime to record a second victory over visiting Oklahoma, Kobe Bryant stealing the show with 39 points in a 95-92 scoreline.

Kevin Durant was City's high scorer with 32.
