Houston Blown away by lakers


The LA Lakers bounced back from a terrible performance against the OKC Thunder to claim a 109-101 victory over the Houston Rockets.
The Lakers flirted with their lowest points total in the modern era yesterday, but looked a different side on Saturday, typified by Pau Gasol's 30 points.
The Dallas Mavericks beat the Golden State Warriors 111-90 on the back of Rodrigue Beaubois' best ever performance, bagging 40 points.
The New Orleans Hornets fell out of playoff contention as the slipped up 112-101 against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Brandon Roy claimed 28 points for Portland.
The Washington Wizards saw their franchise record losing streak pushed to 15 games as they last 103-87 to the Utah Jazz.
Carlos Boozer led the was for the Jazz with 22 points, while Deron Williams added 20 and 12 assists.
The New Jersey Nets got back losing ways with a 106-83 defeat by the Chicago Bulls.
Following a two-game winning ruin which ensured they would not be setting a new mark for the NBA's worst ever season, New Jersey were brought back down to earth by Jannero Pargo's season-high haul of 27 points.
